🍣 Sushi Forum #77 Notes ✍️

Sushi 2.0

Snapshot created

  • If proposal passes, it will set the initial base structure for Sushi. Future review, changes and collaborations can then be implemented one at a time to ensure stability
  • Community oversight committee is needed for transparency. Should work hand in hand with the compensation committee
  • Should consist of 3 to 5 individuals independent from Sushi
  • Help oversee financial aspects, compensation etc
  • Community member pocketsquare intends to put out a separate proposal to have it added to the 2.0 roadmap

Integral <> Sushi

Maybe not be relevant for Sushi

  • Most users may not need to swap at a 30mins TWAP price
  • Useful only for high slippage trades
  • Invite team to come on the forum

Clover <> Sushi

  • 5th Polkadot parachain auction winner
  • Has own block scanner and wallet (desktop & mobile)
  • Team is constantly looking to integrate with various protocols. Wants to expose Sushi to the Polkadot ecosystem
  • Plans to give Sushi a grant of 2.5M CLV tokens

  • Throw up TOKE proposal on snapshot again

Sushi Guard

  • New router will be more gas efficient. Undergoing an audit now
  • Signing issue with hardware wallets fixed. No more warning messages will appear

sushiHOUSE Funds

Start actively managing treasury. Team will put out a proposal soon

  • Have plans to transit into protocol owned liquidity

Concerns Highlighted

Sushi 2.0 proposal snapshot seems a little too rushed

  • Gatekeeping on Sushi governance. Not all proposals make it to snapshot
  • A process and clear guidance for governance needs to be put in place
  • Suggestion that Sushi should consider forming a Swiss association over anything else
  • Safe, stable, government is crypto friendly  and no capital requirement
