Head Chef Search
- Submissions have been steadily flowing in. 6 applicants so far
- Core team has set up a panel to review/interview all applicants
- Nothing concrete yet, but an update will be given when the time is ripe
- Successful applicants who make it to the final round will have to attend the forum to present their vision to the community
Legal
- In the process of engaging Fenwick
- They have a specific blockchain and crypto practice and have worked with many industry leaders in the space e.g Coinbase, Compound, FTX, Opensea, Yuga Labs
- The firm has a global network and is able to cover different jurisdictions. Enables Sushi to easily scale in the future
- Also has a multidisciplinary practice that Sushi can leverage as well
- Fenwick will come back with an action plan for Sushi soon. As of now, no jurisdiction has been selected yet
- More details will be shared with the community soon
- All implementations will go through snapshot
Proposals to took at:
1. Formalize Sushiās Governance Process

- Implementation of a public document that states the entire flow of Sushiās governance process, from proposal submission to snapshot
- Ensure proper timelines and parameters are set in place for all proposals that are submitted through the forum
- Will help resolve any confusion the community has
Community feedback:
- Comp/Oversight committee should help with the cost benefit analysis for all proposals and give opinions during forum calls
- Set a fixed date for proposals to go up on snapshot. Makes it easier for community members to track and learn about them
2. Implement a Hiring Process for Sushi

- Process will provide transparency with regards to the hiring of all Sushi core team members
- Create an outlet for interested parties to be able to submit their resumes to Sushi
- Allows the Sushi core team to discover and onboard talented community members who want to contribute
- Bi-annual performance evaluation
Community feedback:
- Performance evaluation should be a separate proposal
3. Treasuryās Transparency

- A request for Sushi to provide transparency on all expenses and salary deals e.g Financial reports with revenue, expenditures etc
- All Sushi core team members should also use publicly known wallet addresses
Compensation committee feedback:
- Best if the community comes up with a specific list of reports that they want to view, so the Sushi core team can narrow down the details and generate more impactful articles
4. Automatic Self Liquidations for Kashi

- Allow users to determine when they want to be liquidated
- No modifications will be made to any Sushi contracts
- Team is already working with Sarang
Community feedback:
- Needs more stress testing before integration
- Implementation may also affect Sushiās liquidation revenue
5. Across Bridge Integration

- Allows easy bridging of assets
Community feedback:
- Need more metrics
- May not be relevant as Sushi is currently integrating with Stargate
