Weekly Round-Up (July 3rd Week)

SushiXSwap is Live!

You can now swap tokens between chains directly from the Sushi UI. The chains currently supported are:

  • Ethereum
  • Polygon
  • BNB Chain
  • Optimism
  • Arbitrum
  • Avalanche
  • Fantom

SushiXSwap uses Stargate under the hood combined with Sushi’s liquidity pools to effortlessly warp your tokens between chains. If you are familiar with regular swapping on Sushi, then you will find the experience just as easy! Do note that SushiXSwap is still inaccessible from the main dapp page if you're having trouble finding it, that may be why.

Sushi at ETHCC:

Sushi team members attended the Ethereum Community Conference. Tangle gave a presentation on Community Tooling, and Sarang held a workshop covering Bentobox. Sushi also co-hosted a boat party and a breakfast engagement to mingle and connect with other ETHCC attendees from various protocols.

Tangle’s Presentation:

Do note the audio does not begin until the 6-minute 30-second mark.

Sarang’s Workshop:

As well as discussing Bentobox, Sarang also gives a live demonstration of SushiXSwap.

Boaty McBoat Party:

GTON Capital captured a discussion from the Boat Party featuring Sarang as well as speakers from Beamer Bridge, Lido, 0xProject, and DefiSaver.

Sushi Forum Community Call:

The community call was disrupted this week due to connectivity issues as Tangle was at ETHCC and having some technical issues. Tangle, however, gave an excellent monologue discussing SushiXSwap.
