Head Chef Snapshot Voting Is Live

The five candidates Jared Cohen, Andy Forman, Jared Grey, Kenneth Hurley, and Paul Walton have all had the opportunity to answer questions on Sushi’s forum, Discord, and the forum call.

The Snapshot vote is now live to vote for the new Head Chef. It will be active from September 26th to October 3rd. Given the importance of this role to determining how Sushi will operate going forward, it is an excellent opportunity to exercise your SUSHIPOWAH in the DAO governance process.

Fenwick has delivered its recommendations and Neil has posted them to a proposal on the Sushi forum for discussion and voting. Drop by the forum and have a read over Neil’s breakdown of the legal advice Fenwick has provided.

In summary, three entities would be created: One for the protocol, GUI operations, and DAO. The expanded details can be seen in a diagram and Neil’s summary on the forum. The entities would be

Sushi 2.0 UI is Live!

Sushi’s new UI is here! The new interface sports a much more streamlined appearance. The somewhat cluttered tab bar has been replaced with a single drop-down menu, and individual buttons to get to Swap, xSwap and Invest interfaces. The drop-down menu consists of the three aforementioned options as well as:

  • Streaming – For those seeking to use Sushi’s offering for streaming payments between parties
  • Analytics – For access to analytics information on tokens and token pairs on Sushi on each chain.
  • Blog – For a link to the Sushi blog covering in-depth news on all things Sushi.
  • Sushi 1.0.  – For those wishing to use the old Sushi interface. Sometimes we don’t like change!

Sushi Is Now On the Kava Network

There will be liquidity pools featuring both Sushi and Kava rewards. According to Kava’s twitter, their reward incentives on the Sushi pools will go live within the week.
